Sew Blessed

8:10 PM

Words are so powerful! They can bring stories to life, speak to the depths of our souls, inspire dreams to come into existence, and so much more.  Yet tonight I find them inadequate to say how thankful I am for all that I have in my life.  This time of year is perhaps one of my all time favorite times.

During this time I am reminded daily it seems by all those around me of how blessed I truly am. Some days it is difficult to maintain a grateful heart and attitude then other days I stand back in complete astonishment of all the lavish gifts the Lord has placed in my life.

Words will never be enough to describe what I feel in my heart, but I will do my best to list some of the things I am most thankful for:

Kindness that leads me to repentance.
Grace that empowers me to live this thing called life.
Love that enables me to Never give up.
Christ who is the stronghold of my life.
Forgiveness that humbles my soul.
Family that inspires me to see past the present.
Joy that lightens the load.
Vision that directs my steps.
Passion that causes me to happily sacrifice for a greater purpose.
Courage to accept the challenges in life.
Leaders that blaze ahead revealing the true heart of servant.
Strength to see past others faults and acknowledge their greatness.
Healthy relationships that enlighten me with wisdom beyond my years.

As you can see the list could become an endless line of descriptive words, but even at my best I still cannot begin to share with you the overflowing love and thankfulness that I have when I awake every morning.  I pray that this blog will encourage you to stop and ponder all of the things that you are thankful for.

I would love to hear from my readers out there on what you are most thankful for.......

More than Blessed,

Laura Lynn
