"Steady Heart" Steffany Gretzinger- Live acoustic version
8:44 PM
For the one who is in need of a gentle reminder.
He is your Shepherd. You shall not want. He will steady you. He will quiet you with His love.
Everlasting LOVE.
He will lead you beside still waters. He will restore your weary soul. He will lead you, on.
Always. ON.
He steers you like one riding an apprehensive horse on a treacherous path. He has saddled you. Girded you with truth. Placing salvation as a bridle around your head, he readies you for the journey. He has had shoes made for you and the ride ahead. Shoes of peace. He tightens the reigns. He assures you He is in control.
He has saved you from your thoughts. Your despair. Your fear. Your discouragement. He found you and made you HIS.
YOUR salvation is near. Your Salvation is like that of a bridle, controlling your every move from here on out. Salvation, He who saves, he now leads you. You are led and controlled by him alone.
HIS salvation keeps you, draws you, guides you, sets your eyes on the course ahead. Salvation is your bridle, salvation steadies you. Salvation reminds you He is faithful. His promise is everlasting.
I know the nights are long, the days are even longer. BUT. There is a breaking, there is a Son rising behind the dark clouds.
"What a breathtaking reminder for me of the beauty of
the Lord pressing through....peeking out from what's
tried to keep it hidden... " (Emily Shuff)
One who holds your whole world in His hands. His glory shines like the noon day. Your salvation is here. He is being revealed. You will run wild and free in the glory of His redemption. You will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Hold tight. Steady your heart, and continue on.
TRUSTING.
