King of My Heart (w/ spontaneous) - Steffany Gretzinger & Jeremy Riddle
11:33 AM
There is a song in my heart and a verse etched in my memory. I would love the honor of sharing these two with you today. I like to try and use Wednesdays as an intentional pause in my week to really reflect on the Lord and His greatness. Today I'd like to share a song, for a week now, has been on repeat in my house.
This song is a little longer than most that I post, however it is well worth the extra few minutes. He is always worth the extra. There is a part in the song that says, "He's not knocked off of his throne." This for many reasons has resounded with me. I have several friends who are facing really hard stuff, and by really hard, I mean, LIFE ALTERING, may lose the fight if they don't allow the Lord to begin to fight for them. Maybe you are facing the same hard life knocks right now, divorce, addiction, court and upcoming trials pleading for justice, not being able to conceive, exhaustion form travel related to work, bankrupcy, kids running wild, sickness and the list could go on, BUT.
Isaiah 40:25-26
“To whom will you compare me?
Or who is my equal?” says the Holy One.
Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens:
Who created all these?
He who brings out the starry host one by one
and calls forth each of them by name.
Because of his great power and mighty strength,
not one of them is missing."
I also posted a video earlier this week with a word of encouragement on my Facebook page if you'd like to take a listen you can CLICK HERE.
