Giving Thanks for YOU

From My Front Porch to Yours

There is something very intimate about handwritten mail.  One of my favorite surprises is when I check the mail and there is a note, card, invitation, something of detail and importance awaiting my eyes and heart to receive.  Snail mail from individuals seem to be slowly becoming a distant art of the past.  I received a letter an actual handwritten letter from a young man now, who just a few months ago was a student in our youth ministry.  His letter was the HIGHLIGHT of my day.  I was Ecstatic to hear how well he was doing at basic.  Now that we are in the days of social media, email, texting, and face time these pieces of art seem to be fading.  Writing a letter, a piece of your heart, a piece of art is what I long to send everyone who is has taken time to read my blog.  Since I am unable to know who all has read and do not have your address, I decided to send you a handwritten card, a piece of art from my heart to yours.

Celebrating YOU!

Handwritten Grattitude

THANK YOU FOR READING!

I can never begin to explain how the simple act of writing has been life changing for me.  Other than my sweet husband I am not sure anyone fully understands what writing in the last two weeks has done for my spirit.  My spirit was failing, weakening in desperation for fulfillment and purpose.  I had been in an ark, floating on an ocean of tears for several months.  I am REDEEMED! I chose thirty-one days of redemption in order to DIG, PULL, and CLIMB out of a pit of discouragement.
Standing in Agreement for Healing

John 12:24 Death brings promises of LIFE

I am so humbled, honored, and grateful for all of your kind words.  Some of you have asked if you may share my link to the blog and YES of course you may share.  If my weaknesses will give HIM a chance to be made PERFECT and bring healing to another, then the answer is YES! I will continue to write and fulfill HIS purposes for my life.  Even if what I purposed in my heart years ago for my life doesn’t come to pass, no longer matters.  I will not be discouraged because my life looks different from my plans.  I will REJOICE for my life is HIS and HIS life is BEAUTIFUL and He is living through us!

This is HIS story that I am living and by HIS grace I am set free.  I am only a vessel, mouthpiece to share HIS story of GOOD news.  So thank you readers from near and far.  You are and will always be close to my heart.

1 Corinthians 1:4-9
The Message (MSG)
4-6 Every time I think of you—and I think of you often!—I thank God for your lives of free and open access to God, given by Jesus. There’s no end to what has happened in you—it’s beyond speech, beyond knowledge. The evidence of Christ has been clearly verified in your lives. 7-9 Just think—you don’t need a thing, you’ve got it all! All God’s gifts are right in front of you as you wait expectantly for our Master Jesus to arrive on the scene for the Finale. And not only that, but God himself is right alongside to keep you steady and on track until things are all wrapped up by Jesus. God, who got you started in this spiritual adventure, shares with us the life of his Son and our Master Jesus. He will never give up on you. Never forget that.
